General information about cookies and other tracking technologies.

Surfing the web, certain anonymous data (i.e. data that does not allow direct personal identification) may be collected passively (i.e. without the user providing it directly) by the owners of the sites, using various technologies such as cookies, Internet tags, web beacons and the collection of navigation data (log files, server logs, clickstreams). Also, your browser automatically send to this site some of this anonymous data, for example the address of the website you have just left, the address of your Internet Protocol (IP address), the version of the browser used by your computer. This website may collect data from your computer via cookies and internet tags or web beacons. You can set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent or set it to refuse cookies altogether, but some features of this site may not work without cookies.

This site may use and combine this passively collected anonymous data to provide better service to visitors, customize the site according to your preferences, compile and analyze statistical data and trends and, not least, administer and improve the site for visitors. This data will never be combined with personal data collected by our site, unless you have given your express consent. For more information about cookies and other passive information collection methods mentioned above, you may consult the following paragraphs.

Cookies definition

A “cookie” is a computer record of information that the website sends to your browser for future identification of your computer when you visit the same website and your preferences.

A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard drive or transmit computer viruses or acquire e-mail addresses. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. Some of the cookie functions may be delegated to other technologies. In the following, the term ‘cookie’ refers to cookies and all similar technologies.

Different types of cookies can be distinguished according to the characteristics and use of cookies:

“Session” cookies are temporary computer records of information, which improve navigation, do not allow visitors to provide inappropriate information (the site “remembers” the information previously provided such as age or country of origin that were outside the parameters specified and blocks any subsequent changes thereof) and are used to collect aggregate statistical information on the site. Session” cookies will then be deleted once the visitor leaves this site or his browser or when he turns off his computer.

“Permanent” cookies are computer records of information, which remain for a certain period of time and which are located on the hard disk of the user’s computer and remain there unless the user deletes the cookies. Permanent cookies store information on the user’s computer for various purposes, such as retrieving certain information that the user has previously provided (e.g. password), helping to determine which areas of the site the user finds most interesting, profiling the website according to the user’s preferences. Permanent cookies sent from this site to your computer may contain personally identifiable information, but only if you have registered on the site and have authorized the processing of personally identifiable information that you have provided to the site. Otherwise, our site’s server only knows that an anonymous visitor with that cookie has returned to visit our site.

Cookies can also be categorized as follows:

Technical cookies. These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of a website and are used to manage various services related to the websites (such as a login or access to the functions reserved on the sites). The duration of cookies is strictly limited to the work session or they can take advantage of a longer stay in order to remember the choices of the visitor. Deactivating the strictly necessary cookies can compromise the experience of use and navigation of the website. Analytics cookies. These cookies are used to collect information about your use of the website. This information is used for anonymous statistical analysis in order to improve the use of the site and to make the content more interesting and relevant to your wishes. This type of cookie collects anonymous data about your activity and how you arrived at the site. Analytical cookies are sent from the site itself or from third party domains. They also allow us to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. The deactivation of these cookies can be performed without any loss of functionality and will be dealt with in detail later.

Third party service analysis cookies. These cookies are used to collect anonymous information about users’ use of the site such as: pages visited, length of stay, traffic origin, geographic origin, age, gender and interest for marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent from third party domains outside the site.

Cookies to integrate third party products and software features. This type of cookie integrates features developed by third parties within the pages of the site such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks in order to share site content or to use third party software services (such as software to generate maps and additional software that offer additional services). These cookies are sent from third party domains and from partner sites that offer their functionality between the pages of the Site.

Profiling cookies. These cookies are necessary to create user profiles in order to send advertisements in line with the preferences expressed by the user within the pages of the Site.

More information on cookies can be found at www.allaboutcookie.org

The requirements for the protection of personal data relating to the processing of cookies.

EU Regulation 2016/679 requires consent for the sending of and access to cookies, with exceptions.  The purpose of consent is to ensure that the user has real control over the information that is stored on his terminal or accessed. The installation of technical cookies (including analytical cookies, collected in aggregate form) does not require the prior consent of users, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 remains unaffected.

To perform essential functions such as authentication, validation, management of a browsing session or, for example, identify whether the user has regularly accessed areas of the site that require prior authentication or validation of the user and management of sessions related to various services and applications or the storage of data for secure access, this site uses technical cookies necessary to run and support these services.

  1. b) saving preferences

This site provides functions to save your navigation preferences and optimize your browsing experience. These functions include, for example, language and currency setting functions. We therefore use the cookies necessary to perform and support these services.
